Kappa Alpha Theta

I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan and a molecular and cellular biology major with an emphasis in neuroscience. Around campus I am involved with the honors program, RDG, chemistry club, a leadership development group, honors biology club, and organization of the PIE conference. I also work as a course assistant for the chemistry program and volunteer at a Tacoma free clinic. I am over joyed to be given to opportunity to serve as chapter president. I look forward to learning and growing with the chapter.

Hello! My name is Rachel and I am from the island of Oahu in the beautiful sunny state of Hawaii! I'm currently a sophomore studying biology, I love small bio, and an emphasis in Neuroscience or Bioethics. I'm a morning person which is perfect since I'm a coxswain on the men's varsity crew team! I fell in love with Theta and am looking forward to working with our exec to have an exciting and successful year!

Hi, I’m from Olympia, Washington and an Economics major with minors in Business and Math. I am passionate about numbers and can talk for hours about personal finance! I am on the Puget Sound varsity swim team and am the research chair of Four Horsemen Investments, a non-profit organization run by Puget Sound students. Each year I fall more and more in love with Theta and can’t wait to make this year the best one yet!

Kyla is from Longmont, Colorado. She is majoring in business and hopes to someday work in marketing and development for universities or non-profits in the arts. Her hobbies include singing, traveling, cooking, and fantasying about living in Downton Abbey.

I am a Sophomore Theatre Arts major, English and Spanish double minor from Puyallup, Washington. Other than Theta I have been involved in RDG, theatre, and work at the Tech Services desk and in the Art Lab! I'm so excited to be serving as COO and helping make Delta Iota the best chapter it can be!

Nihal is from Las Vegas, Nevada and is a junior psychology major with a minor in communications. She has also lived in Virginia, Florida, Colorado, Egypt, and Washington. She is  a member of the University's cheer team and a coxswain for the varsity women's crew team. Nihal is an avid fan of the U.S. National Women's Soccer Team and loves anything to do with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In the future, she hopes to go to grad school and receive her PsyD in clinical psychology and either open up her open practice specializing in cases of trauma or become a criminal profiler for the FBI.

I'm a junior from Portland, Oregon pursuing a politics and government and business double major. If you visit Puget Sound you'll likely find me studying in one of our campus cafés or watching SVU with my sisters at Theta. I have a passion for social media, event planning, scheduling and crafting. In an ideal world I will grow up to be the next Olivia Pope - crisis manager of the hit show Scandal.

Hi there! I am from Boulder, Colorado and I am currently a Psychology Major with a minor in Sociology and Anthropology. On campus I am involved with Residence Life as an RA in Schiff Hall and I work as a communications coordinator for the Center for Intercultural and Civic Engagement. I am also a member of our National Residence Hall Honorary and Psi Chi Honors society. I am an avid mental health advocate, and I co-founded the UPS Chapter of TWLOHA. I am extremely excited about my position as Scholarship Director and I look forward to studying a lot with my sisters in Theta!

I'm sophomore from Berkeley, California. I'm a business major with a minor in sociology and anthropology. I can't wait to plan super engaging fun programs for our house. Outside of Theta, I am the president of the student alumni association and am a manager at the UPS Phonathon. This is going to be a memorable, exciting, and overall sisterhood filled semester. I couldn't be more honored to serve as Delta Iota's event director.
